First of all, the unborn child (womb) is formed in the male.
This semen is his power and energy which is collected from all the parts of the person for existence (to become).
Therefore, he holds himself in himself, and when he infuses it in the woman, he creates himself.
And this is the first birth of 'Paramatma-Chaitanya' (Supreme Conciousness).
He becomes one with the woman (just as if he were her own part).
That is why it does not cause any pain to the woman, and she can feel the affection of this self-part of her husband who has come in her womb.
She cherishes and nourishes this self of her husband.
That lovingly nurturing woman herself becomes lovingly nurturing.
In this way, the woman carries that unborn child (womb), and the man takes care of that child from the very beginning, even before its birth.
And though He nurtures the child before its birth, in reality He sustains Himself for the continuation of these worlds and their subjects, for thus the unbroken thread of these worlds continues to be woven.
And this is the second birth of 'Paramatma-Chaitanya' (Supreme Consciousness).
And, it is his self-form, and he makes him his representative for virtuous deeds.
Now this other self-form of him when he completes all the deeds he came to do, and has completed his life, then he goes from here, and even after leaving here, he takes rebirth.
And this is the third birth of 'Paramatma-Chaitanya' (Supreme Consciousness).
Therefore, it was said by the sage Vamadeva:
I, Vamadeva, being yet in the womb, knew all the births of these gods and their causes.
In a hundred cities of iron, they held me down and kept me; I broke through them all with might & violence, like a hawk I soared up into my heavens.
While yet he lay in the womb, thus said Vamadeva.
And because he knew this, therefore when the strings of the body were snapped asunder, he soared forth into yonder world of Paradise & there having possessed all desires, put death behind him, yea, he put death behind him.
